My name is Keith Thomas and I live in the Catterick area in North Yorkshire. I first started playing the Great Highland Bagpipe when I was in the Royal Air Force. This was 30 years ago now, and my military career is over. But during that career I played at most types of military functions in the UK and overseas, including such venues as the prestigious Edinburgh Castle.
Since becoming a civilian I have continued playing the Bagpipes with Pipe Bands in the area where ever I settled, which at the present time is North Yorkshire where I have been for the past few years.
